DESCRIPTION
The system features a lightweight carbon-fiber shell incorporating UV and IR filters suitable for LightWELD systems.
A scratch-resistant coating provides additional protection for the welding filter lens.
Complies with EN207 standard,
The unique properties of the LightWELD carbon fiber helmet and lens system produce an EN207-compliant welding helmet.
The high-quality materials used are capable of protecting the user from direct exposure to full laser power for a minimum of 10 seconds without failure.
Rated ANSI Z87
Based on American National Standard Institute (ANSI) standards, the LightWeld carbon fiber welding helmet complies with ANSI Z87+W, offering enhanced impact protection while being designed for welding applications.
The welding helmet passes high-mass impact, high-velocity impact and penetration tests, including impact tests in excess of 100mph, offering superior protection and potentially eliminating the need to wear additional impact goggles under the welding helmet.
Features
- Superior protection - Complies with EN207 and ANSI Z87+W16 standards
- Carbon fiber hull - Ultra-light construction
- Integrated IR and UV window
Benefits
- Improves worker safety - impact and laser protection in a single welding helmet
- Lightweight construction reduces neck fatigue and increases productivity.
- Protects user from laser and radiation emissions
For your safety
We recommend using the laser safety goggles supplied with the LightWELD system - in addition to the welding helmet.
Laser safety goggles must be worn by all observers within the laser control area (LCA).
