When Igor Koybash and Konstantyn Lysogor, co-owners of Diamond F.C. Inc.based in Concord, Ontario, noticed a growing demand for waterjet cutting, they wasted no time in completing this application. Given the rapid growth of the company, both partners believe they have made the right choice. The Omax 80160 waterjet cutting center allows large-scale precision machining for larger and multiple parts, from stock up to 6 x 12 ft. Koybash and Lysogor most appreciate the Tilt-A-Jet, a feature that allows the machine to achieve a virtually zero taper with most materials. The Tilt-A-Jet positions the nozzle at an angle calculated by the software to counter the natural angle caused by the abrasive jet. The co-owners studied several waterjet cutting systems before opting for Omax.
